Hiking guide, he has been the President for the Commission of Paths and Signage at Italian Alpine Club in Varallo Sesia. He attended several courses on botany and managed mountain huts at the “Alta Valsesia” Natural Park. Working on the “AsinarleAlpi” project, he was able to link two of his great passions, trekking and animals, while walking along all the Alpine region together with his beloved donkeys.

He contributed to the prestigious mountain magazine “Alp” for more than 20 years.He crossed Iceland on a mountain bike and he climbed mountains in several Countries including Ireland, California, Cuba and Tenerife.
